Ashvyn Limited (NZBN 9429053917249) · Last updated 21 September 2026
Ashvyn GO was previously called Ashvyn Tickets. The name changed on 29 October 2026; the operator and these terms are otherwise unchanged.
These are the terms for registering for an event or buying tickets on Ashvyn GO. They sit alongside our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. Who we are
Ashvyn GO (go.ashvyn.co, formerly Ashvyn Tickets at tickets.ashvyn.co) is operated by Ashvyn Limited, a New Zealand company (NZBN 9429053917249). In these terms, “Ashvyn”, “we” and “us” mean Ashvyn Limited. You can contact us at tickets@ashvyn.co.
These terms apply when you register for an event or buy tickets through Ashvyn GO. By completing a registration or purchase, you agree to them. If you are not happy with them, please do not register or buy.
2. Ashvyn-ticketed events and external listings
Every event page makes clear which of these it is:
- Ashvyn-ticketed events. You register or buy through Ashvyn GO and we issue your digital ticket. These terms apply.
- External listings. These are shown for discovery only. Ashvyn is not the organiser or the ticket seller, takes no booking or payment for them, and the “View official event page” link takes you to wherever the event is actually sold or registered. The terms of that organiser or seller apply to your purchase, not these.
Appearing on Ashvyn GO does not mean we run, sponsor, endorse or guarantee an event. Most events are organised by independent third parties.
3. Organisers and event information
For Ashvyn-ticketed events, the organiser is responsible for the event itself — including delivering it, the venue, licences and permits, safety, and what happens at the door. Ashvyn provides the registration and checkout, ticket delivery and entry-scanning tools.
Event details (title, date, time, venue, price, age restrictions, line-up and so on) are supplied by the organiser. Independent organisers’ events are reviewed by us before they are published, but that review does not mean we have verified every detail. If something on an event page looks wrong or misleading, please tell us at tickets@ashvyn.co.
Event pages show whether the organiser has told us it is acting in trade. This is the organiser’s own statement about its status.
4. Free registrations
Registering for a free event costs nothing. Your registration is confirmed when you see the confirmation on screen and we email your ticket. If you do not receive it, check your junk folder and then contact us. A free ticket can be cancelled if the event is cancelled, or if it was obtained by misuse or fraud (see “Fraud and misuse” below).
5. Paid tickets, prices and fees
Paid tickets are available only for events where the event page shows a price and offers Ashvyn checkout. Ashvyn does not currently offer paid ticketing for independent self-service organisers; where paid ticketing is provided, it is arranged separately and set out on the event page and at checkout.
Before you pay, checkout shows the ticket price, any compulsory booking or service fee (as a separate line), and the total you will be charged. We charge the total shown. Payment is taken by our payment provider, Stripe, on Stripe’s hosted checkout page; we do not see or store your full card number.
A paid order is complete when payment is confirmed and we issue your ticket. If you were charged but do not receive a ticket, contact us with your details so we can check the order.
6. Your ticket, QR codes and entry
Each ticket has a unique QR code. It is single-use: only the first valid scan gets in. Treat your ticket like cash — anyone with the code may be able to use it, so do not post it publicly or share it with people you do not know.
Entry is subject to the event’s disclosed conditions, such as age restrictions, ID requirements, capacity, dress code, and the venue’s or organiser’s safety and behaviour rules. What happens when entry is refused is covered in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Unless an event page says otherwise, tickets are for your own use and that of the people you bring. Where an event’s conditions restrict transfer or resale, or a ticket is sold in breach of them, the organiser or we may cancel it.
7. Accounts and guest tickets
You can register or buy as a guest, or with an account. A guest ticket is tied to the email address used for the order. To protect tickets, an order is attached to an account only after the owner of that account has verified the email address by using the link we send. Creating an account with someone else’s email address gives no access to their tickets.
You are responsible for keeping your password and email account secure. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed them.
8. Changes, postponement and cancellation
Organisers can change, postpone or cancel events. When that happens to an Ashvyn-ticketed event, what you are entitled to depends on what changed and on whether you paid. That is set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
When an event is cancelled and no order for it involved a payment (for example, a free event), we email the people who registered, and their tickets stop being valid. If any order for the event involved a payment, we handle communication with the people affected individually and do not send this automatic email. We do not promise that every email will be delivered (mailboxes and spam filters are outside our control), so it is worth checking the event page before you travel.
9. Emails and communications
We send the emails needed to run your registration or purchase — confirmation, your ticket, verification and password links, and notices about a cancelled event. These are operational and are not marketing. Ashvyn does not currently send marketing or newsletter emails. If we introduce marketing communications, they will be handled separately from operational messages and in line with the applicable consent and opt-out requirements. Accepting these terms is not consent to marketing.
10. Your personal information
How we collect and use personal information — including what an organiser can see about people registered for their event — is described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Fraud and misuse
Do not use Ashvyn GO to commit fraud, to buy tickets with a payment method you are not entitled to use, to bulk-register with automated tools, to interfere with the service, or to copy or forge tickets. We may cancel tickets or orders that we reasonably believe were obtained this way, and refuse further registrations. Where a genuine customer paid for a ticket we cancel, we deal with the payment fairly under the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
12. Availability of the service
We work to keep Ashvyn GO available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend or change parts of the service for maintenance, security or legal reasons.
13. Your rights under New Zealand law
Nothing in these terms takes away, excludes or limits any right or remedy you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where those laws apply, they apply on top of these terms and prevail over them.
Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows: we are responsible for our own services and for our own breaches of these terms, but we are not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent organisers or venues in running their events, or for indirect or unforeseeable losses. We do not exclude liability for anything we cannot lawfully exclude, including our own negligence or misleading conduct where the law does not permit us to.
14. Support and complaints
For help with an order or ticket, or to make a complaint, email tickets@ashvyn.co with your order confirmation or ticket code if you have it. We will look into it and reply. If you are not satisfied, you keep your rights to go to the Disputes Tribunal, the courts, or your card issuer or bank where relevant.
15. Changes to these terms and governing law
We may update these terms. The version that applies to a registration or purchase is the one shown when you complete it. Changes do not reduce your rights for an order you have already made.
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer right to bring a claim elsewhere.
